The Museo dell'Anima was inaugurated by Renée Fabbi.Occhi on Mariannenplatz in 1998, together with the Banca dei Valori Spirituali. From the beginning the project has been a museum of the interior — a place where colour, sound and ethics are held together, and where the visitor is asked less to look than to listen.
The museum functions today as a project and a public reference of the artist's practice. It is presented here as such, and not as a separately registered institution. Any formal legal or governance status is subject to artist confirmation. See our editorial notes.
